Finding Your Passion Again

Finding Your Passion Again Nanny

Finding your passion again Nanny…….

Do you feel like your passion for children is fading? Are you burned out from the day-to-day stresses of taking care of someone’s child? Is your energy zapped? Are you empty inside?

Trust me when I say that I think anyone who has ever worked with children whether it’s in a school setting or a home-setting like a nanny has lost their passion or become burned out at some point during the duration of their job. Well, dear sweet friends I’m sure that you are wondering how do I refuel the passion again for taking care of children, right? Well, I’m here to help you!

Baking cookies

I want you to sit down and close your eyes and mentally think about your job.  Now think about this for a moment – What job allows you to bake cookies, take nature walks, enjoy a picnic outside for lunch, give lots of hugs, encourage a child when they feel down, or play princess or spider-man for an hour? You have the BEST job in the world! Yes, you get to be a kid again and have fun with the children. It’s easy to lose perspective of how great your job really is when compared with other jobs when you are in the daily grind of whiny children, folding laundry and cooking chicken nuggets, but look beyond the daily tasks. Think about this for a moment – YOU can help change the way a child feels about himself! Yes! You can make a child feel LOVED, cared for and appreciated by finding your passion for children again.

You are helping mold the next generation!

Yes, you have been divinely selected to not only keep the children safe in your care, but you were chosen to pour out your love, kindness and wisdom on them as well. Rise UP! Be MORE! Take your job seriously and look at the big picture and not just the day-to-day tasks. It’s neat to think about the positive impact you will have on the children in your care and how you can help impact their future in a positive way.
