Privacy Policy
Last Updated: August 5, 2026
Dream Nannies, a Georgia’s Dream Nannies, Inc. company (“Dream Nannies,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website (www.gadreamnannies.com) or engage our household staffing services across Georgia, Florida, Texas, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
By using our website or services, you consent to the data practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information that identifies, relates to, describes, or could reasonably be linked to you (“Personal Information”) in the following ways:
Information You Provide Directly
Client Families: When you submit a family application, contact us, or engage our services, we collect your name, email address, phone number, physical address, household details, family dynamics, and payment information.
Caregiver and Nanny Applicants: When you apply for a position, we collect your name, contact information, employment history, educational background, references, certifications, and a professional headshot.
Information About Children: Client families may provide names, ages, health information (including allergies and medical needs), and specific care requirements of their children. This information is treated with the highest level of sensitivity. By submitting a family application and providing information about your children, you affirmatively consent to Dream Nannies sharing this information with the specific caregiver candidates being considered for placement in your home. It is never used for marketing purposes and is never shared beyond the placement process.
Information We Collect Automatically
When you visit our website, we automatically collect certain information about your device and browsing actions, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, and the dates and times of your visits. This information is collected through cookies and similar tracking technologies as described in Section 5.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following business purposes: to match elite domestic professionals with client families and facilitate the placement process; to respond to inquiries and provide updates regarding applications or searches; to conduct background screening of caregiver applicants (subject to separate FCRA disclosures and authorizations); to analyze site usage and improve our website; and to deliver targeted advertising and promotional communications, from which you may opt out at any time.
3. Background Checks (FCRA Compliance)
For caregiver applicants, Dream Nannies conducts comprehensive background checks as a core component of our vetting process. These checks are governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Before any background check is conducted, applicants will receive a stand-alone FCRA disclosure and must provide separate, explicit written authorization. If a placement decision is adversely affected by the results of a background check, we adhere strictly to the FCRA’s pre-adverse and adverse action notice requirements, providing applicants with a copy of their report and a summary of their rights.
4. Phone Calls and Call Recording
As part of our commitment to quality service and accurate placement matching, inbound and outbound calls with Dream Nannies are recorded using our office RingCentral system. Because we operate across multiple states with varying consent laws — including Florida, which is an all-party consent state under Fla. Stat. § 934.03 — an automated announcement is played at the beginning of all calls stating that the call may be recorded for quality and training purposes. Continuing the call after this announcement constitutes your consent to the recording.
5. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising
We use third-party tracking services to understand how visitors use our site and to deliver relevant advertising. The following services are currently active on our website:
Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Tag Manager: We use these services to track website traffic, user behavior, and conversion metrics. Google may collect your IP address and use cookies to analyze site usage.
Google Ads, Conversion Tracking, and Remarketing: We use Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing features. This allows us to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns and to build retargeting audience lists, which means that users who have previously visited our site may see Dream Nannies advertisements as they browse other websites across the internet.
Meta (Facebook) Pixel and Advertising: We may use the Meta Pixel to measure the effectiveness of our advertising, understand user actions on our site, and build targeted audiences for advertising campaigns on Meta platforms.
Your Choices: You can manage your cookie and advertising preferences in the following ways. You may opt out of Google’s use of cookies for advertising by visiting Google’s Ads Settings at adssettings.google.com. You may opt out of Meta’s use of your data for advertising through your Meta account settings. You may also manage or disable cookies through your web browser settings, though doing so may affect the functionality of our website. Additionally, a cookie consent banner on our website allows you to accept or decline non-essential tracking cookies.
6. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We share your information only in the following circumstances:
For placement matching, we share caregiver applicant profiles with prospective client families and share family household overviews with prospective caregivers, strictly for the purpose of facilitating a placement. We share information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our business — including Zoho CRM for lead and candidate management, Stripe for payment processing, and our accredited background screening partners — who are bound by confidentiality obligations. We may also disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Dream Nannies, our clients, or others.
7. Data Retention and Security
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Application data and background check results are retained in accordance with applicable legal requirements and industry standards.
We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no internet transmission or electronic storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Privacy Choices and Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or ask us to limit the use of your data, by contacting us using the information in Section 11. While current privacy laws in Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, and South Carolina may not legally mandate these rights for a business of our size, Dream Nannies voluntarily offers them as a matter of best practice and client trust.
Texas Residents: Texas’s Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA) requires affirmative consumer consent before processing certain categories of sensitive data, regardless of business size. By submitting a family application or caregiver application that includes sensitive information (such as health data or background check results), you affirmatively consent to Dream Nannies processing that information for the purposes described in this policy.
9. Children’s Use of This Website (COPPA)
Our website and services are intended for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18 through this website. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information through the website, please contact us immediately so we can delete it.
Note: This section applies to website usage only. The collection and use of information about children provided by their parents or guardians as part of the household staffing placement process is governed by Section 1 of this policy.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your information.
