As the holiday season is approaching and Thanksgiving right around the corner we wanted to give you some amazing and fun ideas to do with your families and the kids you nanny for!
A classic turkey day favorite of mine was always making hand turkeys with finger paint. This is an amazing craft because not only is it very hands on, it’s also colorful and makes a great gift that parents can keep forever! Another personal favorite is making sock turkeys! Take a brown sock, fill it with dry rice, tie it off and let the creativity begin.. You can draw on it, stick googly eyes on it and even glue on feathers! For all of my people who love baking, take the kids in the kitchen and bake a pumpkin pie or some cupcakes that they can decorate and make festive for the family. There are so many amazing ideas, fun crafts and activities to do this holiday season and these are just a few of our favorites!
Take some time to think about all of the amazing things you have to be thankful for, whether that be the family at home or the bonus family you work with, fill your home with lots of extra gratitude and love this coming week.
