Nanny Manager for a Family near Decatur

A family is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Part-Time House Manager to take full ownership of the cleaning, cooking, laundry, and overall organization of their home. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in maintaining a spotless, well-run household and can work independently without needing constant direction. The position is approximately 25 hours per week, primarily afternoons and evenings, with occasional weekends. Pay starts around $25/hour, with occasional overnight needs when the family travels and overnight compensation to be discussed in advance. Responsibilities include daily cleaning and organization of the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, and common areas, as well as deep cleaning every 1–2 weeks, including the refrigerator, pantry, baseboards, cabinets, and closets. The House Manager will also plan and prepare family meals, manage groceries and shopping, handle all household laundry and linens, and provide occasional childcare support such as pickups or evening routines. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, dependable, comfortable with physical housework and evening driving, and has prior professional housekeeping or household management experience.
