Nanny Manager for a Family near Decatur

Dream Nannies is seeking an experienced, proactive, and highly organized nanny/family assistant for a warm and busy family located near Decatur, Georgia. The family has three children ages 5, 12, and 13 and is looking for a dependable caregiver who can become an integral part of their household and help create a smooth, well-managed home environment. The primary schedule will be Monday through Friday from approximately 12:00 PM until 6:00 or 7:00 PM. Additional hours will frequently be available, including earlier mornings, later evenings, school breaks, and occasional longer days based on the family's schedule. Flexibility is extremely important, as the family is seeking someone who can adapt to changing needs and provide support when extra coverage is required. The ideal candidate will also be open to occasional travel with the family. This role extends beyond traditional childcare and is perfect for someone who enjoys supporting a busy household and helping take responsibilities off a parent's plate. Responsibilities will include school pickups and transportation to extracurricular activities, planning engaging activities for the children, grocery shopping, meal planning, and preparing healthy family meals. The nanny will also assist with maintaining household organization by cleaning up breakfast dishes and kitchen areas, managing the children's laundry, placing folded laundry on the children's beds for them to put away, watering plants, organizing household spaces, and helping keep daily routines running smoothly. The family would love to find someone who naturally takes initiative and enjoys handling a variety of family assistant duties. Additional responsibilities may include researching and obtaining quotes for household projects and services, helping coordinate and plan birthday parties and family events, and assisting with other tasks that contribute to a well-organized and efficiently run home. The ideal candidate is nurturing, energetic, flexible, and detail-oriented, with strong multitasking skills and a genuine desire to support both the children and the family as a whole.
