The most important value we received from Georgia Dream Nannies was knowing that they would do the work and research, saving us a lot of time as well as uncertainty. Their promptness and responsiveness was outstanding! They were able to find excellent qualified nanny candidates within a week which was AWESOME! You are likely the sweetest and most genuine person I have ever worked with, and please know that God has already richly blessed us ... where exactly would we be without you right now? When our third nanny suddenly quit, I realized that – as a mother – I had run out of options. I loved my job, but knew I needed to quit working if it meant that this was the kind of trend I could expect. I would not allow this to happen to my family again, but had no idea how I could possibly trust another caregiver for my children. When you hire someone to care for your children, you have to remember that (at any age) they are very intuitive. They know exactly what going on and, as parents, you have to work very hard to sell them on the idea of a new person coming into their lives ... feeding them, hugging them, loving them ... in your absence. My husband and I realized that we were not able to find outstanding care on our own and that's when we began researching placement services. From the first conversation with our placement coordinator, we felt like someone finally understood where we had been and where we wanted to go with our childcare. Georgia Dream Nannies took all of two days to find us a truly perfect match. Perfect in so many aspects – a nearly identical match to our work schedules, the ages she preferred, similar personalities – all of our expectations matched hers ... and bear in mind that we provide our wish list and the candidates do the same ... completely independent of each other. This meant that her responses were not catered to our needs – so we knew we were getting honest answers, not what we wanted to hear. As I said to our coordinator after the hire, this agency gave us back things that we felt we had to give up in previous situations. We started out with a raised bar and, without knowing it, we allowed ourselves to lower that standard as, over time, we were chronically disappointed in our childcare. We took what we could get instead and stopped asking for what we wanted. We settled. And when it comes to anyone's children, you should never, ever settle.
