How do I register as a housekeeper or household manager?

Do I have to provide references?
Yes! If you are invited to have an interview with our agency, then you need to bring a list of references with you and a professional resume. Your professional resume/reference sheet should include employer's names and contact numbers. This is very important! You will receive a letter explaining all of the paperwork needed for the interview.
How much can I make per hour?
It depends, but you can make anywhere from $12 - $25+ per hour.
Why is your agency named "Georgia's Dream Nannies" ?
We specialize in placing Nannies, but over the years we have added many NEW services and we are continuing to add more services.
Do I have to pay any fees to sign up with Georgia's Dream Nannies?
NO!
Can I bring my child(ren) with me to work?
NO! You will need to make other childcare arrangements.
I am not interested in any of the current jobs available. How often should I check the website for updated jobs available?

What happens after I fill out an On-line Application?
We will notify you via e-mail or by phone once we review your application. You will receive a phone call from a nanny coordinator welcoming you to the agency. Next, you will need to go to www.GaDreamNannies.com and click on Agency Wide Interview and fill out a time and date that you would like to interview with us.
Do I need to fill out all of the questions on the on-line application?
No! There are some required fields that need to be filled in; however, there are some questions that are personal and completely optional. Should you choose not to answer the optional questions it will have no effect on whether or not you will be interviewed by Georgia's Dream Nannies. Our "optional" questions are generally our "most commonly asked questions by parents". Parents usually want to know more about you. *Please remember that parents will be allowed to read your on-line application.*
Why do you ask so many questions?
The On-line Application gives us a good idea of the type of job you are looking to obtain through Georgia' s Dream Nannies.
Do you have part-time and full-time jobs?
Yes! We have 2-days - 5 1/2 days jobs. Most parents give you at least 2-days off per week. Hours can range from 12 hours per week to 50+ per week. The majority of our parents hire Nannies, housekeepers and house managers 12 - 40 hours per week.
Do I have to sign on with a family for a year?
It depends on the families needs. Most of our jobs due request a year commitment or longer. Georgia's Dream Nannies requires you to be honest and upfront with us about your needs to work with a family for several months or a year or longer. We have jobs that are short-term, but most jobs request a year commitment.
Do I have to interview with your agency soon after I fill out an application?
Yes! You will need to register on-line for a job interview with our agency AFTER you submit an application. Click Here to register for an Agency Wide Interview
Am I employed by Georgia's Dream Nannies?

When you are calling our agency to talk to us about a job or to ask questions, make sure that you annunciate your words. If you call to leave us a message, be sure to slow down and state your name and number clearly. Repeat your name and number at the end of the message as well to make sure that we understand you. Last but not least, make sure that you sound positive when you speak to us or leave us a message. We have to talk to many people and listen to many messages during the day. It will benefit you to have a positive attitude when you are inquiring about a job.
