Do you have a trial period?
Yes! Each permanent placement has a 60-day trial period. We have the experience to recognize a good match because we know the pitfalls of the business, so this isn't normally an issue. GDN gives families a 60-day trial period. In the unforeseen event that your domestic professional does not work out within the first 60-days, GDN will provide a replacement at no additional charge. Each permanent placement has a 60-day trial period. If you are past the 60-day trial period, then GDN works with the clients case by case to help resolve a replacement issue for a fee.
Do I have to pay taxes on my household employee?
YES! Once you hire a nanny, housekeeper, or household manager, they become your employee. The IRS has recently enforced efforts to collect employment taxes. Paying your household employee "off the books" is considered a tax evasion by the IRS. Call the IRS directly for more information or call a CPA (tax accountant) for more information about employment taxes. If you sign up with Georgia's Dream Nannies, then we will provide you with informational tax brochures to use as a guide.
Household Manager or Estate Manager INFO
Are you a busy parent? Do you need help running your home while working? Solution: you can hire a Household Manager to help you! The can work either full or part-time, live-in or out. Household Managers typically have formal training and some sort of background in teaching. Basically they help run the entire household and manage other staff within the home.
Household Managers provide a wide range of services for the family. They can shop, book travel arrangements, manage special projects, hire and fire other staff within the home, manage household calendar events, run errands, plan events, create menus, cook, do laundry, iron, watch the children, clean, help entertain, and do payroll for other staff. A Household Manager or Estate Manager can also be your personal assistant and help take care of private matters, such as organizing personal files, typing letters, answering phone calls, and so on. Household Manager and Estate Manager hours: 30-55 hours per week (estimates only) Hourly Rate $14 - $25 + per hour(Salary usually depends on job duties, hours, flexibility, experience, etc)

Short-term Care (3-months or less)
Georgia's Dream Nannies specializes in providing a permanent Nanny, Housekeeper, and/or Household Manager for 6-12 month placements or longer. Upon request, we also offer short-term and summer care options for Nanny and Housekeeper placements. How do I pay my employee?
The salary is paid by the employer (you). Georgia's Dream Nannies does not employ Nannies, Housekeepers or Household Managers. Families typically pay the employee between $12 - $25 per hour.
Do you provide an agreement to use with my employee?
Yes! We provide you with a very detailed agreement to use with your employee when you hire a Nanny, Housekeeper, or Household Manager. Georgia’s Dream Nannies uses a detailed and comprehensive Family Agreement (Contract) for utilization with your new Nanny, Housekeeper, or Household Manager.
Do you offer training to nannies, housekeepers and house managers?
We offer optional socials, training workshops, and orientations to all nannies, housekeepers and house managers when available.

We perform criminal, sexual offender check, driving history check, medical check, social security number trace check, and reference checks. We at Georgia's Dream Nannies always put the safety and security of your family first.
Does Georgia's Dream Nannies require CPR & 1st Aid on its applicants?
Georgia's Dream Nannies highly encourages all nannies, housekeepers and house managers to complete a course in CPR and 1st Aid. We offer outside referrals for CPR/1st Aid & CPR classes. Most of our nannies, housekeepers and house managers are certified or willing to re-certify.
Can I share a Nanny with a friend?
No. I am very sorry, but we do not offer "nanny share" services anymore.
